Emergency Response Beepers

Civilian First Response has proven itself time and time again to be the most efficient and effective to terrorism. Whether it be Medical or Tactical response, it is these volunteer units that have saved many lives and have neutralized many terror threats and attacks. Within minutes of an incident, hundreds of volunteers, Medical and Security personnel are notified, those closest respond immediately, in coordination with the regional forces at hand. These teams, with there experience and training are one of the most valuable components in Judea and Samaria today. The activation methods of our volunteers require advance communication tools that allow for flawless contact and immediate response time. The current system uses a combination of beepers that are provided to all our medical response volunteers and the volunteers of the Emergency Tactical Response teams, with MIRS phones that are provided to team leaders, ambulances, security officers and doctors. Currently the IDF is providing funding for only four beepers per team and the past funding for the rest is coming to an end. There are currently thousands of these beepers in the field, distributed between Medical, Security and other Emergency personnel.
