FEATURE PROJECT - Operation: No More Jewish Victims
The murder last year of 5 members of the Fogel family in Itamar, combined with the escalation of rocket attacks in the south as well as other related incidents throughout the country all point in one direction - an escalation of terror once again in our homeland.
As such, Jewish communities throughout Judea and Samaria are on high alert. Once again, our enemies have shown their true colors. Sadly, human nature dictates that we wait and react to attacks rather than work towards preventing them from ever occurring. Though we cannot bring the Fogel parents and children back to their remaining family, we can prevent the next attack.
Through One Israel Fund's Operation: No More Jewish Victims campaign, you can become one of our 1,000 new partners who will support this important and critical endeavor. For as little as $36 per month, you can finance the vital training and equipment our Emergency Response Teams require. Equipment such as thermal surveillance cameras, high powered lighting, communication equipment and a host of other vitally needed equipment have proven, time and again, to save lives. We know, since our efforts have already aided in capturing terrorists and preventing their desired outcomes.
This is your chance to do more than talk about protecting Israelis who live on the front lines. Make a real difference. We urge you to take an active role today in helping these brave teams succeed.

Emergency Medical Needs
Medical Clinic
The Upper Jordan Valley is a vast and spread-out network of communities which stand as the bulwark against hostile nations to the East of Israel. Long held as the most important strategic border for Israel, nearly everyone in Israel agrees the Jordan Valley is vital to the vibrancy of the rest of Israel.
Recently, a number of medical situations have arisen and the time needed to seek proper med-ical attention could have been devastating had the needs been greater. In addition, expecta-tions that the population of the new community of Maskiot will reach 100 families over the next five (5) years, the need to build a small but serviceable medical clinic in the upper Jordan Valley has become the primary need for the growth of this area. The clinic being designed will provide services based upon a future population of over 700 families between the local com-munities as well as the Maskiot Military Academy.
The 60-square meter facility is to be built in two phases. Phase I will include a fully-equipped
doctors room; nurse's room; reception area and bathroom In Phase II, the Medical Clinic will be expanded another 30 square meters to include an enlarged nurse's room, a second doctor's room and a second bathroom.
The total cost to complete this project is $77,000 (subject to change based upon dollar-to-shekel rate) but there are smaller sponsorship opportunities:
Phase I
60 sq. m building and site development $42,000
Medical Equipment and Furnishings $10,000
Phase II
Additional 30 sq. meter Facility $20,000
Additional Medical Equipment and Furnishings $5,000
Revava Emergency Medical Center
Revava is located in the central part of Shomron in the heart of a group of communities including; Barkan, Kiryat Netafim, Yakir, Nofim, Barkan Industrial Park (one of the largest industrial centers in Israel) and not far from the town of Ariel. During the violence of the Intifada, this area was cut off from the main city centers at times due to acts of terror on the roads. The establishment of this center will assist in bringing emergency medical and security assistance to this region. In addition it will serve as a station to which residents may turn when in need of emergency medical care. The first stage of the center is already functioning and serves the residents of the area (both Jews and Arabs) in providing emergency medical, firefighting and rescue operations. Today partial service is provided from this area for medical BLS (Basic Life Support), rescue and firefighting operations. When completed, the center will serve as the MDA deployment unit (section in the main building), the regional emergency team center, a command and control room and will host the office of the Regional Security Coordinator. It will also provide briefing rooms and training areas, equipment storage and supply warehouse and will serve as the primary center for the treatment and handling of civilian tragedies. The total project will cost $575,000. However, there are numerous dedication opportunities within the facility.
Advanced Life Saving Kits
One Israel Fund, together with the regional councils and the medical professionals in these areas, has targeted forty locals in extreme need for resuscitation kits. This will represent Stage One of this project. Stage Two will commence immediately
upon the completion of the first stage and will work to ensure that all communities have access to this vital equipment.
Each kit includes a full life resuscitation kit, a defibrillator and a burn kit set side‐by‐side in a portable carrying pack enabling full mobility for use in either a regular medical emergency or a
terrorist attack. One Israel Fund wishes to form partnerships with Jews around the world
who care about saving lives and make this life saving project a reality. Over the years we have seen how the combined efforts of Jews in Israel and the US have succeeded in saving many lives and defending against terror. This is another opportunity which will
continue that tradition.
Advanced Paramedic/Doctor Life Support Kit $3,600 each
Completion of Stage 1 $72,000 (27 already sold)
Security Patrol First Response Medical Kits
In the past six months there has been a vast increase in incidents occurring on the roads leading to Jewish Communities throughout Judea and Samaria. Stonings and Molotov cocktails have become the norm for the residents of our heartland. In 95 of these incidents it is the security chief or the community patrol who is the first to arrive - before the army and even before the emergency medical personnel. One Israel Fund, together with the emergency medical professionals and the regional security chiefs, has put together a kit that will meet the minimal needs of an incident that occurs on the roads. This kit will be in every security chief’s patrol vehicle attached to the driver seat with the ability to become a Medical Back Pack in the event that the victim has been run off the road or as needed. There is currently a need to provide 100 of these kits throughout YESHA.
Firefighting Equipment
Little is known about the fire fighters of Yehuda and Shomron. While they provide the same services as typical fire fighters, these volunteers are trained to fight fire under the constant threat of terror. This means that their trucks and gear must be bulletproof and that the communication devices they use are state-of-the-art. Endorsed by the chief of the Fire Department in Israel, our project is a vital source of funding to the fire fighters of YESHA.
