IDF soldiers in the field carry close to eighty pounds of gear for extended
periods of time. The shluker is a soldier’s best defense against dehydration in
the hot Middle Eastern climate. It’s thin, lightweight, fits easily inside a
pack and carries three liters of water, so taking a sip is quick and safe.
The Shlukers Campaign is a way to create a lasting and meaningful bond with our
IDF soldiers. One Israel Fund, in cooperation with the IDF, has already
distributed over 3,000 shlukers to IDF units throughout the country. Become a
